What do i major in if i want to be a patent lawyer?

I am planning on going to law school to become a patent lawyer. I am wondering if there is a specific major that i should major in. Right now purchase prescription drugs my major is biochemistry. Also, does what school i go to for my undergraduate degree have a big impact upon being admitted to a good law school?
